I just got my rx8... i decided to join this group so i can learn more about this car... I am an asian car fanatic, I own a s2000, 350z and a 96 supra...I bought the rx8 about a month ago...I posted a help thread and while most peole were inviting there were a few who just was negitive about me asking for help...what the hell is wrong with ya...I thought this was a forum about rx8 owners who love the mazda rx8 not a forum with a bunch of immature dummies who hate...ah well ..ya probably gonna repost with negitive attitudes towards me...I hope to meet fellow rx8 owners who are willing to help me and give me insight to this asian SUPERCAR!!!

there are a few people here that reply to most posts with nothing to say except, this is a repost or do a search. that really brings down the quality of this site. i stayed away for a while because it irritated the **** out of me. i have learned to ignore them and read past their posts. most of the time i know exactly what they are posting before i even read it.

most people here are here to help, others are just plain douche bags. ignore the repost or search responses and you can learn a lot about this car.

Telling someone to search is being a "lil b!thc"? I think not, the search function is a necessity for any forum site. It is why we have one to make use of. If you don't want these 'SEARCH!' responses, don't start a new thread. We're happy to welcome new members, but we'd also like them to take advantage of the search function. They'd probably learn more by reading through the old ones than starting newer ones.

i think it is ok to remind people to search, but put in a link to the search too or to a specific post...or just click the back button. typing search only does no good

yeah but what makes you think that i can do the search for you then find what you looking for then put it on the thread you started so you can have the answer when all you have to do is do what i did to get you the link??

just dont be lazy you already sitting on a chair. search will save you time and also save you from the guys that already went tru the same question a million times.

what bothers me: People who post with a sense of entitlement - as if we'd BETTER answer their questions. People who type 'ur' for 'your'. People who post 'I'm too lazy to search'. People who post about being mad cuz nobody would take them seriously. I say it's cuz they use 'ur'.


what doesn't bother me: People who just need an honest answer. People who are humble when they ask a newb question. People who type 'your' when it's appropriate.

if u are apart of ne other car forum u should know how **** ppl are about the search function. the answers are here, just gotta look for them. I know all of us would try to help with nething, with technical or aesthetic questions.

 

see heres the secret, just post ur thread and ask ur question and sit and wait and be lazy while watching people get pissed at ur thread and waste their time replying telling you to do a search. Eventually someone nice or bored will come along and post the answer you want anyways. patience is a virtue, the people who respond to tell u to do a search are great because they help you bump up ur thread until someone comes to answer it. In the main while just sit and be lazy and grateful that they are helping you bumping up ur thread

 

if you did your homework before quoting me youll see that my posts that i always say what you just said. there is times where the search is outdated, but his questions are basic Rx8 questions that dont change. i dont mind helpin at all and you havin way more posts than me should know the way at least 25 more times than me.

 

I was already chuckling to myself when I read "supercar" and RX8 in the same paragraph, then saw you're referring to an automatic, with (probably) heavy 19" wheels and and a bunch of "performance" mods that don't help or don't exist (DC Headers???). My advice is to calm down, do some research, and most importantly, don't get your hopes up very high. Oh, and don't start a thread calling people little bitches if you actually want any help.

 

I gotta go with the group on this one. Sure they are trigger happy with the flaming, but you seem to want a summary of everything ever disscussed.

BTW-- This is far from a supercar.

 

Your title states that there are a lot of "mad little bitches" here. Then your post goes on to state that most were helpful but a few were negative towards your, very specific, how do I drive, upgrade, clean, use, and perform maintenance on my vehicle question. Nobody was rude to you in that thread. In fact, people tried to warn you that searching is a good idea. Nobody owes you anything. There are separate sub-forums for many of the items you asked about. If you do not care for this forum, you are not required to visit.
