i dont quite understand the question....

your in a slide or loss of traction situation, the car tunes off? is there a switch near the seat that turns it back on?

im not sure, are you talking about the TSC/DCS (traction/stability control)?

Maybe you read the 360 thread where the car cut out?

If you drift or slide on ice the car will not die on you. If the car is equipped with DSC then the system will need to be dissabled before you go sliding around intentionally.

The higher-end models (Sport, Touring and Grand Touring) come with stability control and traction control. If the computer senses that you are sliding, it will activate the brakes individually and also back off the throttle if necessary, to keep you from skidding or spinning. The throttle is only retarded long enough to restore stability. This does not turn off the car.

There is a switch to turn off these systems, if desired. This means you can drive without the traction or stability control if you wish. Once you disable these systems you can't turn them back on without restarting the car.

How's that?
