Problem is this guy doesn't want a stop light racer from what I understand. He just wants somewhat acceptable performance in his AT as a daily driver, which it severely lacks in its current state. I know where he is coming from cause I've already been there, you sweet little bitches. The manual isn't all that it's cracked up to be in terms of raw performance either, but as a daily driver it is definitely acceptable, and fun as hell to drive with. He just wants to make his 4AT the same way and shouldn't be bashed for it.

Is it possible to buy an MT6 Transmission and repalce the AT4 with the 6k or less?

How about the 07 6sp AT ?? anyone try that?? Still not as good as the 6 sp MT?? I too thinking of getting a RX8, but at my area I often get caught in traffic jam, sometimes as long as 2 to 3 hrs, MT not for me

Possible? Maybe, lot's of things would need changing/reprogramming etc.

Expensive? Very. 5 figures easy, I'd bet.

and at the end of the day you'd still only have a 4port M/T as opposed to the stock 6port M/T
