Things look funny after tinting??

Hey, guys, I just tinted my white baby with limo on the back, and 50% on the front. They did it one piece for the rear windows. You all know that we have tons of defroster line, and now when I drive at night, all the head lights from the car behind me look very weird; they appears dispersed vertically...damn, I wish I have a pic to show you, sorry.

any way to reduce it? when there are 10 cars behind you, it look like 30 cars stacked up on each other.

Is the tint still brand new? When you get your windows first tinted it takes a few days for the haze to go away. Then it should clear up, if not, take it back to the tint shop.

Ya. I noticed the same thing. Just got mine tinted. 20% all the way around. Looks really good. Gives it the all black look. But, I also noticed these vertically stretched lights as well. It doesn't bother me that much though.

When I got mine tinted, it was a rainy day, so my tint was fogged up bad. Looking out the rear windshield I felt blind. So yea, tint needs to settle.

Yes, it will take a day or so in the sun for the glue solution to completely dry. After that, you shouldn't notice the slightest imperfections.

Melon...you'll get used to it. Only 20 mins old..Lol You will be used to it very soon. As one of the other replies said, brand new tint is still setting. The clarity will improve bigtime in a day or two.

Got pix?

It's about to rain in LA now. Then I will wash my car, and post a nice pic.
Thank you for all the replies.

Melon,

Just as others have mentioned, the vertical lines are perfectly normal. After the tint settles, you might still notice it a little bit but you'll quickly adjust.

You're out in LA? Hmm, you should come to some of the SoCal meets: Malibu Cruise
