Think this might fix the fogged tail light issue?

Fogging and water
Fogging or water? What I did to solve my "water" in the taillight issue is take the taillights off yourself, buy some cheep $5 weatherstripping **** (one sided sticky, foam looking stuff) and then just follow the "outline" that will be there to where the gasket touches the frame, it will be like a worn out part of the gasket - no problems since.
I tried replacing the original thin gasket with an ebay gasket solution, but this made no difference. I poured water down the boot channel, I could see a quantity of water accumulate in the lense. So I took the lense off, and then discovered the water dripping out of it from the join between the two plastics.
Having sealed that, and still using the thick ebay gasket, as said so far so good.

The tailight lense readily filled with water if the car went into a car wash. Also fogged in rain / wet conditions.
