Well that's another thing...You don't want to be caught in the snow with your RX-8's stock tires. Take the truck. Just in case, put an emergency food and water kit in the trunk (right next to the spare quart of oil you'll need).
Those are things you need for bad emergencies in your RX8. You may also have some "good" emergencies, as young, hot people tend to be attracted to the car and the driver.

I test drove that RX-8 before I bought mine, It's been on that dealers lot for awhile so you should be able to get a really good price on it. And from the test drive it runs fine, I just didn't buy it because of the color.

Ok, just looking over all of your stuff again... Town North Mazda has worked on my car a couple of times. They are very straight forward people and wouldn't give you any BS. Gregg Scott is a really nice guy and would do anything he could to help you.
2nd, if you don't plan on buying one, don't drive one. If you drive it I promise you will at LEAST say "I've never driven anything like that before". It doens't have the most power, but it is an all around different vehicle. I would never consider a trade for an '03 Cobra, unless I was drag racing.

Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to have any of the good emergencies. (Back when I was, I didn't have a very cool car.)

Sorry Slim 8 im not going to listen to your advise on not driving one... I found a nice one for sale a few miles down the road. Im going tomorrow to test drive one in Naperville. I'll let you know what I think of it.
Slim8 you have a gt and the rx8, how would you compare the two?
