Thinking about just a bit more to put on my 8..

Hey everyone,

So after an awsome christmas for my 8, (the 8 got several OEM appearance peices), it's put me in a bit of a frenzy and I want more.

I've been thinking of either:

- OEM black pearl licence plate frame (I've been sporting the dealership frame for 3 years! )
- OEM Front polished rotary accent (I really like the look of this with the front air dam)
- OEM Rear polished rotary accent (to complete the package)
-------- $157

OR

- AxialFlow Shortshifter (I've heard loads about this thing.. is it still essentially the best out there?)
-------- $259 (?)

These are two very different dirrections for just a bit of moola, but I'm curious what you all would select.

Thanks for any and all input, I just can't decide!

i dont get illuminated shift *****. or even shift ***** that have the little shift diagram.

its not like i need to see where the shifter has to go. and even then, if im shifting, my hand is covering the top.

oh well, illuminated shift ***** do have a bling factor for any passengers. (the driver should have his eyes on the road.)

Well I suppose I'll place an order for the shifter. Does anyone know if AxialFlow ever has deals on the shifters or is it more or less one price?

Also, did anyone here ever purchase non-OEM Accents? I'm curious if the fit is ok.

The only, only, thing that concerns me about the shifter is the cabin noise that I've heard about. I'll keep digging around for more on that (I guess you can remove some green fluff and it helps), but if any of you have any other immediate tips or anything that would be great.

Thanks again for any and all feedback!

The cabin noise isn't significant for most owners. I have a bit more noise with the Voodoo **** but the feel is worth it
