Thinking of getting limo tint + 20% done soon

Hey guys, I just want to get some feedback on this idea, and hopefully someone here has a similar tint job.

I already have 5% around except for the windshield, but for some sick reason I want it darker. I heard double limo is overkill, and that 5%+20% is pretty much impossible to see through during the daytime, regardless of sunlight. Is this true?

I'm not worried about tickets or anything, since I seem to have the most amazing luck with my tint. I just want complete, utter privacy and have no one able to see through my windows at any time.

Does anyone have tint this dark? I realize some people might think this is a huge safety concern, but I've never had an accident in five years of driving, and I drive with my windows down a lot.

Thanks!

5% = 5% of light getting through.

any lower = 0% of light getting through.

don't do it.

We all would like limo tint, but why take the risk?

I have 15% in the rear, 30% up front. 15% in rear is legal where I am.

Let's just hope you don't get busted/in a wreck cause you can't see well enough.

BUT, if you can do it and want to, that would be sexy.

Are you that ugly? What are doing in there that you need tint that dark?

I used to have limo tint back when I was kid, and it was fun for a little while, but what you're doing is causing more problems than you realize.

I key off of seeing other drivers and what they're doing... you can see when they're looking in their rearview mirrors. you see their hands on the steering wheel when they're turning into your lane. you can see them glance over their shoulders (and not use a turn signal). you can see when their talking on their cell phones and being oblivious to what's happening around them.

All this is information drivers use to help each other stay out of accidents.

To darken your tint more than limo is ridiculous. You're going the wrong way. Grow up, and quit acting like a thug...only thinking about yourself and being childish.

I know you did this!!!
Thug1: "Im waving my hand!!! Can you see it?"
Thug2: "Dude, I can't see it!!! Youre tint is awesome!"

Grow up.

get presidential tint. i think its the equivalent to 2%. or something ridiculously low. 5% done right should be PLENTY. i have 20% and it was kinda expensive, and all my friends think i have limo tint. if its a highquality place, it will look nice and black, while still being visible (my 20%)

I think it works like this...
You already have 5% which lets 5% of the light in.
You put 20% on 5%, then you're letting in 20% of the 5% you had.
20% of 5% is 1%.

Effectively, you would have 1% tint. 04RX8man's idea works better and is cheaper. Quit being a wuss. Spraypaint your windows black.

Why not put on a Power Rangers helmet if you're worried about light?

Get those mirrors that you can see from the other side.. Your car would have mirrors all around and no one can look inside but look at themselves. Tint the mirrors black or something afterward.

I'll do it for 10 bucks and the cost of a bucket of roofing tar.
