I'm new here and i'm thinking about getting the new 2006 RX-8. I will be back from Kuwait in February and I want to trade my 2001 Eclipse in for this beautiful car. Can ya'll post some (+'s) and (-'s) for me? How is the car treating you. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance!

The only bad thing I really hear about the car is low end tourqe and not very good gas mileage. But I tell you, I drove this car the other day and im gonna get one!

I too drove this car yesterday along with the Scion TC and the Nissan 350z. I loved the 8 the best. The 350z had a lot more power but it also had a bigger price tag. I think im gonna go with the 8 for sure. Thanx for the input.

I think... if you don't care about the gas mileage and can stick with it being slower than most it's competitors, get it.

Even with all the negatives about the car... everyone ends up loving it ^^

This car is a great vehicle regardless of those two cons. Its just different. Like any car, there may be a few problems that need maintenance, but if you can handle and deal with the power difference between this car and its competitors, you'll love the rx8.
