For those of us that haven't gotten our VINs yet....
From the VINs that have been posted by those that do have them already, you can figure out what your VIN is going to be pretty much.
If you look at your Vehicle Request ID from your dealer, the last eight digits will be the last eight digits of your VIN. So your VIN will be in the form of:
JM1FE17xx4yyyyyyy
where x=?
and y= the last seven digits of your Vehicle Request ID because they all start with "4" as the first digit.
So it's basically a matter of getting your two "x"'s assigned unless someone else knows the code for those digits. :D

Oh well....back to the drawing board! Guess I'll see if there is any correlation once I get my actual VIN. It did seem to make some sense though.

I know how you feel. I wanted to believe that the ..xxx003 in my order number meant I had ordered car number 3 and that I would get it sooner, lol. I'm just like everyone else on here - trying to survive the next few weeks - or possibly months
