If you don't speed or drive like a jerk, cops can notice you all they want and can't ticket you...so what's your problem, again?

Well, to not speed is an issue, since the flow of traffic usually exceeds the posted speed limit. Driving like a jerk, changing lanes without ample warning, and other stupid things shouldn't be done anyway, so is not an issue.

That's weird. I thought "no standing" meant you could stop to drop off or pick up a passenger. It's "no stopping" that means you can't even stop to do that.

^ It should be obvious: you have to roll by w/o stopping and the GF has to jump out and hit the ground running. aahhhh . . . funny mental image, that. lol. Fight that ticket NYG.

dothack - there's a simple solution for your Q about cops "staring" at you. Wave.

1 ticket. but i kinda deserved it. i was doing 95 in 55. i wasnt really looking at my speedo, and my gf had jsut called me that she was waiting for me at the metro stop. which was about an hour away. my gf is super pretty and i didnt want her to hang out in a creepy place for too long. combine that, with i had just gotten the car, and it rides a LOT smoother than my previous car. i didnt really notice the speed. i thought i was doing about 70-75. which is the normal flow of traffic.

my mistake. i have no problem paying it, but i dont want the points.

I wish you could just pay the fine and be done with it, I would speed much more then. Officer pulls you over, swipe the credit card and you're on your way. but points costs too much.
