Ticking Noise !!!
okay i noticed that when i start my car in the morning when the engine is cold, i hear a ticking sound coming from the engine. The sound seems to come close to the alternator belt . Once i drive the car the sound is gone...Now could this be that my engine is not getting enough oil by the MOP or is it just the belt wheel ticking on the alternator??
any suggestions

it is your alternator pulley.....I have the same noise when I start the car when its cold.......I wasn't sure what it was so i looked and looked and finally just sprayed some jigaloo on the alternator pulley and the sound instantly went away......I installed the ap pulley a bit ago.....going to check the belt tension tomorrow and see if they are too tight.....might need to adjust the altenator. Once the engine is warmed the sound goes away on its own without the jigaloo as well.
