I think for vandalism my deductible is $500, so it's hardly worth making a claim for tires even if they're a $800 set of tires. Maybe Six has different coverage, but unless costs are in the thousands I won't make a claim even in instances where my deductible is $250. It's just not worth it in the long run.

P.S. Sorry to hear about your tires

enn. weird. having tires slashed is kind of uncommon among RX8 owners. have you done something that have offended other people.

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune. Whoever did that is going to get what's coming to him/her. Karma is our best friend. As to why someone would do this is a good question. Did you break up with someone recently? Is there a co-worker who despise you for having this car or did you **** them off? What about with friends? It might sound crazy, but your driving habits might have instigated the cause. Do you drive recklessly or showoff constantly? For example, there is a black Toyota Celica around town that has an incredibly loud aftermarket exhaust and everytime he drives around he does so in 2nd gear (to make it even louder) and make jack-rabbit starts from the street lights as if he is in a drag race. I often wish his car would self-destruct and kill him at the same time.

I can't imagine there was much rubber left on your tires after that burnout anyway.
