tit grey and other REAL colours

On a past thread I read that the car looks even better in real life than in the pictures as the curves are not really as pronounced in photographs and the eye is fooled by colours in photos.

We in the UK have not actually seen the RX8 hence our love of any photos. But much like pornography, it's not the same thing as live interaction.

Has anybody out there seen the tit grey and can comment on what the real thing looks like.

Your input in appreciated. Glod bless the US and all who sail in her.

rael

Ps. As you can see I have ordered the tit grey!! Those who think that its a **** colour do not need to apply.

Let me just say this - my first sighting of the RX-8 was titanium grey (indoors) at the St Louis (MO) Auto Show. Before then, I didn't even know Mazda was this close to production on it.

Not only did the Auto Show sell me on the car, it sold me on the color (see below)! No worries, rael!

Didn't the Detroit car have the Black/Tan leather combo? Did you not like the color combo or the price increase?

At Detroit, they had 3 RX-8s:

- Red/Red
- Tit/Tan
- Black/Grey cloth

All the cars looked great, but honestly, by far the most jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring color in real life was the red. But if you ordered titanium, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

My boss just bought a Ferrari 575M Maranello - OMG what a car!! I asked him what color that was and he said "Titanium" - it is truly awe inspiring. I love the color. I don't think you can go wrong with Titanium. Especially if you were leaning towards Brilliant Black. The titanium seems to bring out the lines in the car.

I chose black on my RX-8 PreOrder and later changed it to Titanium - I went to the dealership and asked if they had any cars in the titanium color that the 8 would be coming in. They told me that the metallic grey that the Mazda 6 comes in is the same color used in the Titanium Grey Metallic that the RX-8 comes in, just has a different name. And they said that the Miata MX-5 is actually in the exact same color with the same name (Titanium Grey Metallic) as the RX-8 - they just didn't have any on the lot.

So they put a black one next to the grey and I fell in love with the Grey (Titanium) color. I can't wait to get it.
