Is the titanium gray metallic on the RX-8 the same as that on the last edition RX-7 Spirit-R?

 

I think the color on the spirit-r actually falls somewhere between the 8's silver and titanium colors. don't expect an exact match

 

Don't know. But it IS the same color as used on the 2002 Special Edition Miata.

 

In the UK it is used on the 'Pheonix' special edition MX5 (or miata or eunos - whatever you guys call it).

It is also used on the Mazda6 (if you guys have it).

It's a very cool colour... (as my order will testify) :D

Really? I don't like the gray Mazda 6, I think it's too dark. You sure it's the same color?

 

I'm going to be sporting a silver, cause I as well think the titanium is a little too dark (to the point of clashing with the red interior). I'm sure they will both be nice though.

 

Well - according to my Mazda dealer.

When I put down my deposit there was a Mazda6 in the showroom , and he confirmed that it was indeed 'Titanium'...

Perhaps in UK is different Gray to elsewhere (dont know if you are UK).

Looks the same to me as the Phonix MX5 , and that is certainly Titanium Gray....

Guess it is all down to taste. Me , as soon as I heard there was a 'titanium' - it was a done deal. I have always loved 'gunmetal' type colours so I think it is perfect !
