Too good to be true...?
I found an '05 RX-8 for $13,000. I live in north-eastern Kansas, and here are the specs:
Mileage:19,941
Exterior Color:Whitewater
Interior Color:Black
Engine:Rotary Engine
Transmission:6 Speed Manual
Drive Type:2 wheel drive - rear
Fuel Type:Gasoline
Doors:Two Door
Installed Features
Keep in mind, I'm only 17, so I'm not sure what to look for. I'm considering buying an RX-8 still(I can afford it, don't worry). I haven't talked to the guy about it, I've just looked at it in person and those features were listed on the site.
Input? Help?

That's not an unreasonable price. Shitty economy, car with a bad rep...
Get the VIN and research it to make sure there were no wrecks. Make sure all flashes/recalls etc were done.

Unfortunately my insurance will count it as two doors
But yeah, they provide the VIN# on the site. I'll run it for accidents when I become a bit more serious(I wanna save up a bit more cash before I buy it). I appreciate the help guys.

Thats about right, i just purchased an 06 with 30000 miles with about the same specs for 14400, so 1 year older and still falling economy would put you at about 13000

my insurance at nationwide calls it a sedan so i get a discount there
and i picked up my fully loaded had everything but toilet paper model for just under 14 used with 28k on the dorito.
and DEF get a carfax, and ask if they will allow a test drive to a mazda dealership to have then do a once over and also check the recall/service history. I did it before i bought mine, cost me 25 bucks and half hour.....worth it to avoid an expensive mistake.

every time i tried to do this kind of *once over* or inspection when i'm checking out a used car, they want to charge me hundreds of $. it's nice to have that kind of stuff done, but if you know what to look for and check out, not absolutely necessary. it'd be more of a necessity for older cars like the FD or old land rovers, etc. be sure to verify its warranty status. it might still have some of its original bumper to bumper left, and should be covered under the 100k engine warranty. check it out thoroughly. there're some threads w/ pointers, easily searchable. especially watch for idle, smoke out the back, smells, smoothness of the engine, etc. 13k is about right to be a decent deal, priced to move
this car should be classified as a 4-door. sometimes they call it 4dr quad coupe. nevertheless, if you're 17, insurance w/ this car likely won't be a bargain tho
