I agree with the other poster....I am selling my 8 (it has been fun but time to move on), and buying the 335i.....yes it is $5k or so more than a 350z, but waaay better ride, and hands down better accel performance - actually not even close, and better power band.

 

Yeah, in my neighborhood alone i see about 3-4 Zs. I havent seen any 8s around other than down at a local school.

 

Just get whatever car you want as long as you like it

 

sounds like a win-win for all that's illogical. Especially asking such a vague question on an RX-8 board.

You had to be expecting replies like such...

 

Trade your 8 then buy the Z, 5 pairs of tan pants and 5 red shirts so you can dress like all the other noobs at Target. Oh, oh, wait maybe you can dress all in black like the goths so you're 'unique' just like all the other goths.

But really if you want a car that goes fast in a straight line and that everyone else has buy a mustang. It's $10k cheaper and if you throw a SC in it you'll be smokin'!

hey i didnt know u needed every detail about both cars just to get a damn opinion im sooo sorry.the only reason i considered the z was because its easier to get more the 400hp from it the the 8 or atleast it seems that way and right after i bought my rx-8 three more showed up in town the same color and there is only 2 z's where i live and about 7 rx'8s.i test drove it and the z cant even hold a candle to the ride or the interior quality of my 8.also the 8 looks better.and even the the z was slightly modified and had 350hp(again supposedly) i thought my 8 actually seemed much faster.And i dont need all you people calling me a noob or saying i dont know about cars because i know a helluva alot more then you probably think(since when did typing skills=mechanical skills must be some new craze) so im keeping the 8 and for all you people who were rude i hope 5 more 8's show up just like yours so i can laugh at you when you think about getting sumthing else.

It doesnt seem like you know a 'helluva' lot more about cars than we do, youre considering trading your rotary in for a piston engine. You asked for opinions and we gave them to you, then you get all butt hurt? That sure seems silly to me.. If you cant stand the heat, get out of the kitchen..

 

Also, if you know theres so many threads about the RX8 vs the 350z, why dont you just search, read, and come to your own conclusion? That way nobodies OPINION will offend you. We're not your bitches, we're not going to do your homework for you. Mods, close this thread.
