Curious, you guys that had Automatic Transmissions and did trade in's for Manual Transmissions, how much did it cost you? Did your monthly stay the same and you just pulled more out-of pocket??

 

The dealer gave me 19500 for my AT, I owed 22000 left. The 6spd I bought was 19800. So all I did was put down 2000 , had the rest 500 put on top of the new loan. My payment moved up about 3 bucks, so it wasn't too bad. But it was worth it the 6spd is so much more faster and fun to drive.

 

I suspect it will end up costing you a few thousands, but it'll definitely be worth it, assuming you have no disabilities.

 

It costs a few grand if you decide to get a new manual. I traded in my 2004 Auto with Grand Touring, Rear Spoiler, and 6 CD changer. I had about 10,500 miles on it. Got 20,000 for it. Then got a 2005 Grand Touring for about 28,450. So it cost me about 8 grand, but I also got finishing touch and alarm. So it turned out to be about 10 grand in the end.

And... It was definitely worth it!
