trunk lid misaligned?
anyone notice that if you look closely on the lines of the trunk lid, on one of the sides there's a larger gap between the side and trunk lid than on the other? Maybe this is just on mine? Is that difficult to realign?

hope you get a resolution to this, if your vin falls into that category just print out that TSB and present it to your dealer, they should be able to fix it for you.

i'll check on that...usually with any new car you find one imperfection atleast, i've had the car for nearly a month, and i'm absolutely mesmerized by it, but i found the tiny imperfection today....so hopefully that's all that there is.

I switched trunk lids with another8owner and we had the job done in about 1/2 an hour. getting the gaps equal was the most difficult part but that part only took like 10 minutes for both cars. the other 20 minutes were spent just removing all of the plastic screws that hold the lid liner in place and then putting them all back on. you have to move the hinges/lid connection point in the opposite direction that you want the lid to go so that the hinges "pull" the lid back to where you want it.
