Try this in your 2-seater...

I've been a radio control model buff for longer than I care to admit. When I completed my latest and largest model (57" wing span and 57" in length) I found that it wouldn't fit into the cab of my pickup truck like my previous models. The attached photos show my solution. Also, notice the flight-box and helicopter.

I should have taken a picture of my car packed for my trip from Atlanta to Austin. My Wife could not believe all the crap I got in there.

Good show.

I took all three of my kids on a 5 day road trip to my mom's house ... and it all fit.

One good trick that also works very nicely - if you drop the spare tire into the bottom well of the trunk, it opens up a ton of room and packs better than with the spare in - assuming you have the spare installed all the time like I do.

...And try putting the top down in your RX-8. :p

Different tools, each excellent for it own purposes. That's why the best answer is one of each. :D

So, if you don't put stuff that you need to carry in the trucks box, what do you use it for?

Nice!

Everytime I go with my with to buy stuff and we can pack the 8 and have room to spare, it's just great. It makes me smile every time...this is one of the best, if not the best 2+2 ever in my opinion.

1.3L...I'm sending you a PM, I wanted more information regarding RC planes or helo's...

all i can say is that, RX8 is nothing like any other sports car SO DONT YOU ANYONE DARE COMPARE IT WITH A HONDA S2000. the problem about most sports car, NOT TO MENTION S2000, is that they do not have enough space in the trunk and and has only one passenger seat. Therefore, all you are paying for are the looks (if it ever has one, that is). but the RX8 is different (i mean user:1.3L can show you better). RX8 is a 1.3Litre wankel rotary engine (which is not coarse and vulgar as petrol engine), and it has 238bhp.

take this from me because i have seen this from a car review show in england:
WITH THE RX8, YOU HAVE ALL THE BENEFITS OF A SPORTS CAR WITH NONE OF THE DRAWBACKS AND YOU'LL HAVE THE PRACTICALITY OF A SALOON OR A SEDAN, WITH NONE OF ITS BORING LOOKS. IT IS NOT THE TORQUEIST NOR THE MOST ECONOMICAL, BUT BLOODY HELL.... ITS HANDLING IS BRILLIANT.

ALL OF YOU NON-RX8 OWNERS, JUST BE SPORT AND STOP BEING IN DENIAL. YOU KNOW THAT YOU WANT THE RX8 AS WELL. not to be rude or anything but i thought this site is only for RX8 owners, what are those non-rx8 doing here behaving like soreheads?

Relax :p
Everyone was just kidding around. Keep the caps to a minimum too. And this forum is open to all, doesn't mean we have to own an Rx-8 right now.

I just fit two 195/65/14 tires in the trunk, and easily fit the other two behind the driver's seat. Nothing too impressive, but, hey, that means I can bring those winter tires to my friend in my own car.
