Trying to install FM Modeulator

hey guys, I have a Sirius radio in my car and the FM modulation it has is ok, but it could be better.. So I bought a Wired FM Modelator Relay for the sirius radio. Everything I did to install it, I did per the help from this site (has pics and everything) http://www.whatsmyip.org/ipodrx8/

I got stuck when it came to the "hidden" bolt that the publisher talks about. I looked under the steering column where they mentioned it would be but could not find it. I remove the 2 screws on the front of the radio and tried to pull it out.. it just would not come out..

Do I need to take my car to a audio place to get this put in? I can actually see the back of the radio (somewhat) after removing the panel under the steering column.. But don't know that I could position that FM plug in there..

any help would be appreciated.
