Turbo. With Renesis stay about 300 HP or you will have issues.
If you want more then go REW
Then you have to figure out ECU, trigger setups, throttle?, oil system, fuel Etc Etc Etc.... If you need to ask a lot of simple questions then don't start
None of the options are cheap....a REW swap is going to be a lot of work....or expect to pay $15K+ ish to have someone else do it.

Turbo Renny seems to be the most well-sorted and well supported solution; but be prepared with about $15k to do it right.
If you wanna go fast, sell the 8 and buy a C5 Corvette. It is much faster, very reliable, becoming cheap, and has incredible aftermarket support. It lacks the finesse, and especially the fine steering of the 8. If my Vette had good steering I'd still be in it.
