up hill

Hello folks... I live an apartment complex where the parking lot is underground and of course to get out to the street I need to go up. On the ramp where i need to get over , to go out the street... I notice that my rx8 has a hard time going over. I feel like i have to make sure I am going up at a faily fast speed and can't go slow while going up or it'll choke. I know the car doesn't have much torque but it feels like my old civic when going up the ramp. Maybe it's because i haven't warmed the car up enough before taking off?

If you don't warm up the car, you will have rough idle due to it cycling rpm. As for going up hill, I disagree, this thing has no problem going up any grades and I drive the hills of San Fran. Try to warm up your car a bit before you take-off, "it" will thank you in the long term.
