Useable power for what?.. Real world driving scenarios? The old stoplight to stoplight commute to work?

I won't tell

My friend had a Mitsubishi van whose looks can only be described as a shuttle from Star Trek TNG. This one time, we were driving down route 13 and this minivan pulled up along side of us and the sliding door opened to expose this guy we knew named Woody. He didn't have a seat belt on and was waving his broken leg and crutches at us. We were pretty enraged so we sped up. Realizing that we were no match for the other minivan we turned onto route 71 at about 45 mph. We got that pig up on 2 wheels I tell you.

What does this post have to do with this thread? About as much as every other post in the last 20 pages does -- nothing.

^^^^basically according to sti_eric. Mazdas sales #'s are down because everyone's buying an STI instead.

All I know is that STis are not being sold for $8000 off MSRP like the RX-8.

I once again refer you to roaddemon's post #258 (that's on page 7 for those of you not on the n00b settings), where all the bashing starts. He said the following idioitic statement:

Take away their turbos, stiff factory suspension and all you have is a enonobox. The rx7s and 8s are pure sportscars. They are born that way. You can't change or take that away. But I suppose if you take their cheating turbos and stiff suspension away they'd say, "We are pure econoboxes, We get 32.5 miles a gallon. We are great".

You have no one to blame for the posts since then but him.

At least they can provide factual data when asked to so. You guys just make generalized, blanket statements and then can't back anything up with fact. I'm still waiting for you to link me to an article where the RX-8 is favored over a Z4 or Boxster.

The only thing that makes me angry is your complete inability to put together a coherent sentence without screwing up the spelling. The word is YOU'RE
I guess that has hindered your career, hence why at 55 you can't afford a Lexus, BMW, or Porsche like your buddies and have to settle for an entry-level coupe.

Freakin sweet. I never even thought to look in the options to see if I was on n00b settings. I always hated that there wasn't a WYSIWYG editor on this forum. Hooray! Now I'm going to be able to pwn so many more n00bs with my bold and underline and italicized words that I can get just by using keystrokes.

Note, this isn't sarcasm -- I really am this big of an idiot.

Your is slang for You're. Get over it. And my post you qouted was based on previous Mpg post for The Sti econo platform. It was a legit post. I prefer the rotary first. I may go Bmw when the time comes. It's really none of your bussiness is it little man?

YOUR welcome
(I'm told that YOUR doesn't actually denote possession as I have been taught by every English teacher I ever had, but it is actually the shortened form of the contraction "you're").

It's not really a nemesis thing...it's more like he's the Washington Generals and I'm the Harlem Globetrotters. He continues to believe that even though he has 20,000 losses in a row, he can still beat me.

your ( P ) Pronunciation Key (yr, yôr, yr; yr when unstressed)
adj. The possessive form of you.
Used as a modifier before a noun: your boots; your accomplishments.
A person's; one's: The light switch is on your right.
Informal. Used with little or no sense of possession to indicate a type familiar to the listener: your basic three-story frame house.

you're ( P ) Pronunciation Key (yr; yr when unstressed)

Contraction of you are.

YOUR != YOU'RE

Thats about all the effort I'll put towards pointing out the obvious.
Didn't think you would find anything.

^^^I don't know but they better get here soon and sticky this thread. I think we're getting to the bottom of mazdas economics and the theory of their taget demographic. The answers are coded so we need to stick together and figure out the true meaning of life with rotor. I am convinced that the answers are in this thread and we are suppose to decode it.
