Charges laid in police-chase hit-and-run

Charges have been laid against a man and woman who crashed into a vehicle in Surrey, critically injuring the driver, while trying to outrun the police.
Heath Brown, 40, of Surrey is charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm, hit-and-run, failing to stop at an accident where bodily harm was caused and violating his bail conditions.
His passenger, Tammy Madigan, 26, is charged with being in breach of bail.
Brown was seen driving a full-size pick-up truck erratically early March 19 in New Westminster, where police tried to pull him over. He evaded them and drove over the Pattullo Bridge.
New Westminster police turned the pursuit over to Surrey RCMP.
The truck smashed into two parked vans and hit a moving van at 140th Street near 100th Avenue.
Brown and Madigan were apprehended shortly afterward.
The driver of the van was in critical condition in hospital yesterday. Her passenger suffered minor injuries.
The police chase is under investigation.

I lol'd at the firemen popping the hood to see whats in there.
