Angry Vandalism

Slept at a friend's last night and had to park in the street. I was a little hesitant about parking in the same street my car was egged about 2 months ago but I figured my bad luck there had run out and the egging was some random act. But I wake up this morning to my friend telling me my car was damaged. (Mind you that is one of the worst feelings ever - esp. to wake up to). So I head on out to the car to see a nice big dirt footprint on the door. The door was all smashed in. Here's some eye candy for ya all..

After the deductibles it'll be costing me 500 to replace the door.
I just don't understand. Some people have no respect.

That is low. What an incredible dirtbag to do such a thing.

Sorry about the damage and hope the paint on your new door matches.

Holy f*ck... I'd be so damn mad (as I'm sure you were/are)

That is so completely disrespectful and brutal... makes me sad to see that stuff - really....

Unless you were bangin the guys girlfriend, there is no excuse for that kind of thing.

Good luck with the fix and the paint match. Hope the police and/or witnesses could help.

from now on, you friend comes to visit you, or you get a garage space. seriously though, bunch of heathens live where you are. i'm never taking my 8 up there

if you want to try and catch the people, you can setup a video camera, or you can hide out with one of those guns that shoot the weighted nets for ensnaring people. then after they are caught, call the cops, and have them (their parents most likely) repay you for all the prior damages. this is why i hate people. they suck.

I feel ya man.. I can't even eat at my favorite restaurant in broad daylight without some lowlife vandalizing my baby. The key scratch is really deep and the body shops asked for around $600-700. No point going through my insurance if the deductible is already at $500.

so apparently, I'm a member of the Fantastic 4

Broad daylight, that is just ridiculous. Those scratches look DEEP. Sorry to hear about that dude.

I wish there was more ppl could do to find out who actually do these things. A video camera seems the only viable way to do it, but it also sounds pretty complicated. Once you get your whole door kicked in though, it suddenly seems worth it to try. Has anyone ever added crazy security measures like that?

Those ******** do things like this because they are seeing something they can never have. It is a) not a civic and b) doesn't make funny weedeater noises when you rev it at a red light. It is a classy automobile and they are stuck with a piece of Sh$t they spent good money on to make it look like every other piece of sh%t that rev's its engine next to me at a stoplight. I have to park on the street because in my neighborhood in Seattle there are no garages.

If I sound angry I am. The RX8 is a beautiful, classy and elegant sports car. To see the pictures of a dent and key scratches-- just because some ******* needs to impress his other drunk 15 year old friends REALLY pisses me off! The very first thing I put into my window when I bought my car was a sticker from my dojo. I am usually up pretty late and I can say that I am on the front porch when the bar down the road closes its doors for the night and the drunks start walking my direction. I figure if I catch someone doing this, I am gonna throw them into my yard and then use their hair to clean my wheels (on my property officer!)

I hope both of you catch someone in the act of doing something like this (God forbid it happen again.)

serenity now, serenity now....

Good luck getting it fixed and I hope NOTHING like this happens again to anyone on this board.

Sorry to vent, need to go punch the bag tonight and I will see those beautiful cars with ******* smears all over them while I am working out tonight.

Chris

dude, sorry bout the car, thats sucks man. I feel your pain- ive been egged 2 times , the latter time 5 eggs hit my previously flawwless rex. worst feeling to wake up to it.

good luck getting it fixed. I think the "4" was actually an "A" for anarchy -

anarchy is about what would happen if I could do to pay back the hooligans who did this.

I was woken up one day in the middle of the night to my car being vandalized. My friend (neighbor) called me on my cell telling me about it. He actually witnessed the act... and we knew the person responsible.... and still the cops did nothing about it.

Oh well, it was only a broken quarter window, dent around the window frame and a broken rear spoiler. All of this to my previous car (eclipse gst), not my RX8.

I can't stand that sort of thing, if I see anyone do it, even if it's an old nasty car, I'm gonna kick him where it hurts.

I don't own a RX8 right now, I just graduated and I'm looking for a job, so guess where all that money is going to go too.

Yep a RX8. The last thing that a man needs then, is some punk vandalizing your car.

Kick him hard!

Sorry to the guys whose cars were vandalized. That's one of the worst **** that could happen. If something like that happened to my car, I would set up a surveilance camera on the car after it has been repaired and stayed all night with a bat to catch the bastards.

You might be surprised. Vandalism comes under comprehensive coverage. Often there is no deductible and the incident does not count as an accident claim so your rates are not affected. Also many people do not know that a collision with a deer is considered unavoidable and also covered under comprehensive. No deductable, no points. Check your policies.

I was thinking the same, get a paintball gun and setup some bait, and snipe their ***...repeatedly. And when they're down on the ground writhing in pain, pop 'em a couple of more times. Nothing teachs a good lesson like pain.

I have had so many cars vandalized. Its such a pisser. My 8 was actually kicked exactly like that, but on the driver rear quarter panel, right in frron of the taillight...3 DAYS AFTER I TOOK DELIVERY. My insurance company was like....didnt you just buy that 4 days ago? Grrrrr........As Vincent Vega said in Pulp Fiction "You dont F*%K with a mans vehicle"..."It woulda been worth him doin' it, just to CATCH him doin' it". I would GIVE ANYTHING to be able to turn back time all those times just to catch those tools doing it. anything.....

screw that I'll use real bullets and feed them to my snake/alligator in the canal behind my house.
Nothing teaches a lesson like death.

Well yea, if i was in Colorado still I'd use an old mineshaft full of methane, no one can survive in there. But then again it does rob one of the pleasure of gloating over the fool...and then shooting them with the paint gun again. :D
