Crack addicts don't care what time it is; they'll break your window (or shoot you) for $2 any time of day/night. Hotels (especially those right off of highways) are favorite locations for these animals. They stake out the places for opportunities. Never leave your car unlocked in a hotel parking lot; especially as you are loading/unloading; you're being watched. Sorry this happened to you. If the hotel camera doesn't give you a license plate, try the cameras in the Circle K (or Dennys or whatever) next to the hotel. Maybe some day there will be GPS chips in every single valuable we own so we can put a little personal nuke on it when someone steals it.

Obviously, leaving the the car unlocked and giving away laptops every day isn't the answer.

How about an open carry permit toxin? You're in Texas - it's cool there, right? Take a class or two and you can wear a holstered pistol? When locks aren't a sufficient deterrent..... I say, "please gun down the crack-heads who try to rob you before they try to rob me next."

Thanks Cool-blue-dad. Update on the general situation: it's been 1.5 weeks and my car is still in the shop. Besides just having the windows broken and two small dents and a few scratches I found out that the combination of glass falling on the leather + ripping the laptop out of the car caused a tear in my back leather seat, the breaking of the rear window and ripping the laptop over that caused major scratched along the rear deck (where the speakers are), and not to mention a huge scratch on the trunk lid. Total bill is right at $3000 dollars.

I called today to check and they said all the parts are on order, i was somehow hoping I would have it back today because I have a party im going to tonight and told her if i got it back I could give this cute girl I've been talking to a ride. Grrrr

I bought THIS last night as well:

Sig Sauer 2022 .40 Cal version - ******* sexy as hell. And yes I'm getting my license to carry a concealed weapon here soon. Thank god here in texas we are lose and cool about guns and being able to defend yourself and your property. I hope i never have to use my gun in that manner though (i bought it for target shooting too), but I know in my mind I would have no problem pulling the trigger and killing someone that is a threat to my safety, or my family or anything like that (i.e break-in, etc etc)

nah, man I've talked to this guy on the facebook personally....

I didn't realize that he posted this on the forum, but the real problem is that he lives in College Station... Not trying to be a hater but I'll list the BS that's happened to my 8 in College Station

1) Woke up atleast twice within 1 year with my 8 just being egged.... Just "egged".... Simply, and obiviously done in the morning...

2) Get messed with by guys with STUPID *** TRUCKS.... People get DRUNK in College Station, and they DRIVE around.... These jackasses have 5,000-6,000 pound vehicles just to transport themselves 5 minutes

3) Cops are EVERYWHERE!!! I got pulled over once for "ACCELERATING THROUGH A YELLOW LIGHT".... I literally thought the cop was joking when he gave me that bullshit excuse... The light turned yellow, I was to yield (but their wasn't any cars coming for half a mile), so I went and simply took a left while going at half throttle.... I drive a mile down the road, then notice a cop car hauling its *** at me (with no lights - I MEAN NO LIGHTS, NO HEADLIGHTS NO RED/BLUE LIGHTS, JUST THE AMBER LIGHTS) so I slow down too 30 on a 45 because I knew he was pulling me over... The cop was going so fast he didn't acknowledge that I wasn't flooring it, and almost smashed his vehicle into mine, but saved his *** (and his Crown Vic) at the last second by slamming on the brakes right behind me.

4)With so many cops in College Station, somehow! The crime rate is high! The cops spend more time trying to catch college students in bad acts that they don't even pay attention to the bad acts commmited by others onto the college students. I've had friends who've gotten mugged in College Station...

I know it sounds like I'm hating on College Station... But let me specify I'm hating on the Police system that runs College Station... If you've been to College Station, you can't say that their aren't atleast 1 bike cop per intersection, but with all this revenue spended on the police system... Not a thing changes about crime (and where it could be pointed to come from), the drug world that supports it...

Leave? Or be a superhero, like me.

Btw, Facebook has taken years of my life away.
