Leo, First off!! Congrats in advance. You will love your 8. Second, welcome to the club. The best advice I can give is to become an addict of this website. The threads in here will teach you so much. Advice....get the 6 speed manual!! :D

You will definitely love the RX-8! And I agree with Irish... spend LOTS of time reading and learning on these forums, it'll really help. :D

Boy, I wonder how Mazda decides what options and colors to make available in different countries. Is it based on market research? Anyway, to answer your question, do you know which blue will be available in Turkey? If it's the lighter "winning blue" that's available in the states, I personally would go with the gray. If it's the darker blue available in Europe, I'd go with the blue. But that's the kind of thing that no one can really advise you on, it's all a matter of personal taste. If you really want to exhibit good taste, go with silver! :D How's the driving in Istanbul?

Leo,

I just got my 8 this past Tuesday and I'm loving every sec with the car. I drove it a good distance today with my wife, my little neice, and my sister in law and EVERYONE was very comfortable.

I'm still breaking her in so I have not pushed it past 5K but I already can see and feel the potential power it can make. It's not the fastest car in the world or in it's class but it makes up for it in it's looks, rear doors, rear room, and quality.

Like they have told you...read all you can, good and bad...and take some test drives before you buy. As for me...I LOVE THE CAR MORE AND MORE EACH DRIVE!!!

OK, off to another drive again...LOL

thanks quack_p and rx-8wannahave...

people that r working in mazda gallery r saying that noting is certain because the car is going to arrive in market in May...they all say that they will just bring the 6 speed full version...but which colours r going to come is not exactly certain...i like the gray but the dark blue shows the smootness of the car so it is good too...driving in İstanbul??? is completely helllll.....please don't ask anything about that )))
i'm 19 and in İstanbul people that r in my age or that r between 20-26,generally prefer faster cars or they buy an pejo 206 and they modify these types of cars...the tuning is very popular for youth...when you take a drive in istanbul you can see generally bmw's,mercedes, the other european cars ofcourse and THE JAPANESE CARS too...
i asked the workers in mazda that if there r any rx-8's in city???(because in one showroom there is an 8 but they ofcouse don't sell it) they told me that there just 2 but they r shipped over japan by special gallerys and sold out...(but its much more expensive way)
anyway i like the 8 very much because its FAST!! ,cool, tax is cheap (because of 1.3 liter),much more room for a sports car that is over 230hp!! and because japanese cars r faster than the european cars... ))
hey another thing i wanna ask you guys...how is the gas spending on rx-8??in city and in high way???
0-100 how many sec???mazda says its 6.5 secs....
final speed???250km/h???? )

First off, my name is Leo as well. That alone is reason for you to buy the 8. :D Lol Just kidding. Getting the RX-8 for me was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Another great thing about buying this car is the people with knowledgable know-how that would be able to assist you with any potential problems you might have. This little community (RX-8 Club) is one of the most helpful bunch of all car clubs.
