Want to tow my rx8

I want to tow my rx8 from Indiana to Florida. I was going to pull it with a truck using a 2 wheel dolly, leaving the rear wheels on the ground and having the car in neutral since it's a manual is this okay? I have had some people say you need to put rear wheel drive vehicles on a flat bed or load them backwards on a dolly, Some say you can but take out the drive shaft? What can and cant I do? I dont want to screw anything up but if I put it in neutral will there be a problem?

RX8's are rear wheel drive. Just to be in the safe side, if it's me, i'll put all four wheels on a flat bed.

All 4 wheels on a trailer would be best. However if you are going to use the dolly, put the drive wheels on it and keep the front wheels on the ground. This will minimize drivetrain wear. Add about 7psi to the tires, on the ground, to reduce rolling resistance.

Yep...I wouldn't haul my (ex) RX-8 on anything but a trailer. It's more expensive, but safer for the car.

But definitely do not leave the drive wheels on the ground. You'd be better off driving it.

A flat bed (or trailer) is best but if you have to use a dolly, I suggest putting the front wheels on the dolly and removing the driveshaft. Towing from the rear is a lot less work but can cause tracking problems if the front wheels are not properly secured in the "straight ahead" position.
