BTW, I think I've seen your blue 8 and waved before. I drive a red RX8. And you'd mostly see me on 101.

this might be a top nomination for the worst thread of 2006....and I started it!!! congrats to me. yes....i am a noob. what else can be expected? yes we all know that street racing is illegal..how many of us have never gone over the speed limit? i must admit..i went over it once.......that i can remember. but how about if we are just trying to accelerate faster than the car next to us till we get to the speed limit? and then we can say 'yes!! i beat that corolla to 35!!' i think we would all feel special about a kill like that.

my friend, my friend....one word...touge. ever seen initial D? you must have been in tokyo or another monster city. outside of those atrocities, there is beautiful countryside and MOUNTAINS!!! oh they are so fun. i do live 250kms from tokyo though..thats about 150miles??? but the street racing scene here is huge. ranging from civic type r's to 1000hp gtr's. if you havent seen it yet, you need to!!

Ha...I forgot all about that stupid cartoon.
Comparing an EVO to an 8 shouldn't happen, unless the 8 has been heavily modified. IMO, you would at least need the upcoming Mazsport Turbo, PTP, SFR, or Hymee SC to start being competitive, I don't think the Pettit SC will get the job done. Oh, and coilovers and wider tires, etc...

And if those idiots in the Civic Type R's and the 1000 HP GTRs were driving on a proper track, I'd be quite interested.
