Ditto for the mpg. I am on the same tank of gas I had since the reflash. I used to get 90 miles to a half tank with explicit stoplight to stoplight traffic, I now have exactly 1/2 tank and already have driven 120 miles. This along with better response. Funny thing about this car, it starts off kind of slow but when the rpms, which I might add, build rather quickly and your at 90 mph before you know it, this is on a deserted road with no one around, of course.

My dealership told me they did the latest flash before delivering my car and that if I experienced any rough idling or trouble starting, they would replace the plugs for free. Nice!

I haven't seen anyone post about this but my dealer reflashed my PCM to the "latest" this week. They wouldn't tell me the revision. They seemed competent but they seemed to indicate that it's so complex that they don't know the revision. Anyways I cycled the brake 20 times in <8seconds and sure enough the oil gauge does a sweep. I also noticed that the engine light starts to flash during the procedure. I don't remember reading a post about the engine light flashing. Does this indicate "M" instead of "L"?

It would scare me that a single letter would intimidate them so much.

Also I call BS on this. My friend in the service dept that did mine printed out the diagnostic pages from the computer that reprogrammed my ECU. Assuming that they all use the same system (and they must I would think) the code letter is on the damn screen..

You'll see the engine light flashing if you don't have the "L" version. I had the same results when I tested on one in the lot. You will definitely see the sweep if you're on the "L" version. Not sure about the "M" version though...
