I've been cruising these boards for a while as I have been interested in buying an RX-8 for some time now. I think I have narrowed it down to two cars. The 350z and the Rx-8, i am currently leaning towards the 8. However, first things first, I need to sell my Nissan 240sx S14 with SR20DET. If any one here is interested let me know at Ed8756@hotmail.com the car has about 300hp is quite streetable and is very clean. But, back to the point hopefully ill be able to be listed as a fellow 8 owner soon.

I've driven the 350Z and own the 8. Personally I find that the 350Z definitely has more brute strength but too stiff for my liking. The 8 has a nice smooth ride, sweet handling and the torque is constant. As for roominess, you can't beat the 8. Obviously I'm biased to the 8.

I think in the General Automotive section, there's a fellow that owns both cars and he did a really objective comparison between the two.

I'm a Z-car fan after owning 4 of them over the years. When I decided to buy a sports car, the first thing I drove was an '05 350Z. I bought the RX-8, if that tells you anything. I really wanted to like the 350Z, but it was too cramped and way too rough-riding for my tastes.
