Mazdaspeed parts are not covered under your warranty. You do not have a Mazdaspeed 8, these are aftermarket parts, just like anything else you could buy from other companies. However, just like any other aftermarket part, your warranty will only be voided if the aftermarket part actually causes the problem.

some mazda service departments are real dicks especially if you have aftermarket bolt-on's. They'll blame an intake or exhaust when something goes wrong and eventually void your warranty.

hell, i'm affraid they'll blame my K&N air filter when I finally flood my engine or somethin.

magnusum moss act says aftermarket parts cant void the warranty, but if a part breaks because of it, that wont be covered. but a custom exhaust wont void your suspension...that type of thing

also i might have spelled the act wrong, but you get the idea

Clarification is needed here. Mazdaspeed parts are not covered under the original new car warranty BUT Mazadaspeed parts are covered under their own warranty through Mazda WHEN purchased through the dealership and also the labor to install that Mazdaspeed part is warrantied WHEN installed at a Mazda stealearship.

Check with the service department. They should have a book with color codes for each Mazdaspeed part available with the length of time or period that each part is covered.
