water spot removal

Hi everyone. Well, yesterday i had spent 4 hours washing and waxing my car when today i went to school and parked my car. I get back and the whole thing is covered in dirt and hard water spots. i couldn't believe it. so i went home and i wiped down the car: one wet microfiber towel and one dry one. So this mainly helped get the dirt off. then waxed my car and the darn spots were still there. My whole car is covered in hard water spots. Every freaking inch of it. Please help me. could you recommend any products or what to do. i have only had my car for 2 months and just put my license plates on my car. thanks for all the info, i will really appreciate it.

lol. yes, or you can try paint cleaners. they are used sometimes to prep the surface for polishing.
