Silicone sealant... loosening the tailight... God forbid anyone out of warranty actually buy the revised gasket/tail light in the TSB.

New updated Gasket does not help me

Mazda, you're good at creating things, but you suck at fixing them !!!!!!

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tech-garage-22/when-they-replace-your-rear-combination-light-do-they-replace-gasket-well-135636/

I DONT WANT TO WAIT ANOTHER 3 DAYS FOR them to replace my lights ! I just had it replaced like 2-3 months ago ~~~~~

I know Great Neck Mazda, the fat man there *service Adviser* is called Mike right ? There was a *new* old man there also will write your papers, I think his name is Gene. Service Manager is also a fat man, Francis I think. forgot his name.

Couple techs there, david, and some other guy I forgot.

They will fix your car without question if your car is stock, if you have any aftermarket parts, or simply if you been there too many times(like me), they will get annoy and giving you ****.

You can try to bring your car there and see what they say.

like I said above if you get your car there, Im sure they will treat you nicer.

and oh, another good thing is, they have Loaner there, bad thing is, you have to make an appointment WAY in advance. or else you have to do the enterprise rent-a-car.

great neck is where i bought the car from and where i usually take it when something goes wrong so i've had plenty of warranty work done there, used a few loaners there to.they started to give me **** after they saw my aftermarket audio system, whatever.overall i would say after 4 years this car has given me more problems than expected.

Damn, you got your car there and they still giving you **** ? O_O

I had a SSV problem, I know how to fix it by giving it a few hard *** runs, but I decided to give them some crap to do. then they start talking **** (finally has a chance) about my aftermarket K&N intake is the cause of the problem (which is bullshit), took some pictures and tried to void my warranty. I was like, go ahead you can try it, They even said Mazda will void my 'whole' car's warranty as long as I install aftermarket parts ... what a bunch of **** tards.

and guess what after a month or 2 I checked with Mazda my warranty still there 100%. I was about to go back just to **** them off by saying "Hey, my warranty is still there, fix it up BITCH". but I decided not to cuz I dont want morons to touch my car anymore. and I fixed the SSV problem by driving it hard with a tank or 2 ? CEL never came back since. bunch of **** tards there.

Now I do almost everything myself, was about to drop my tranny to replace the clutch yesterday but it was too cold so I back out.

if you have that water problem you should bring it back to Great Neck to fix it, they usually have that lamp in stock so u shouldnt have to wait too long (but still maybe about 3-4 hours)
