I had a chance to see this BEAST at SevenStock in September, it is a THING of beauty to watch it lay down rubber. (which it did in front of the crowd)
Glad you enjoyed the visit, some great looking pics!

Thanks for the compliments and enjoy the pics, I should get a new camera for xmas and those will be clearer in the future(hopefully).
On a side note, over the weekend we lost our most important and hardest worker on the production line Derick Smith. He was involved in a car accident in the early morning sunday and died at the scene. He was 21, had a 1 year old and a fiance. He was probably one of my best friends out here in VA since I am new to the area and he was the hardest worker and IMO the smartest at the facility. He did the top end of the rx8 rebuilds, he basically preped them to run on the test bench(all the sensors, manifolds installed and removed after) and the hardest position on the line. He also built about 200 of the motors, if you half the letter "D" on the top extension bolt at the top of the flywheel on the block then he assembled the engine and I guarantee if he built it then its a great engine becuase he was a perfectionist, I would take one of his over anyones(not that others are bad at all) because I trained with him the first week there and he was one of the fastest to understand how to build it. We are taking the afternoon off to attend his services at work and mazda corporation raised the flag at half mast in honor of him at there corporate offices.
You all drive safe out there, lost a good coworker/friend, RIP Derick.
