Weirdest **** just happened...

I was coming into work and was about to park my car so I'm in 2nd coming to a stop, clutch in and about to pop into reverse. My car radio/CD player started to scratch and dip in and out and then it cut out while I was reversing into the parking spot. The radio went back to the introductory screen that says "mazda RX-8" and my dash had the traction and ABS light go off. About a second or two later the warning lights went off and the radio started playing again.

No time during that did my car cut out or stall or anything, or even dip in RPM...

Car ghosts? Or something else...

Thanks in advance!

Yup ground. 1st thing clean battery connections. Some crud is normal to accumulate after a while on terminals of all cars.

Be afraid....

Electrical gremlins!

Move wire bundles around in the area of your pedals and look for the same response.
Track it down wire by wire.

It happened to me b4 and i ran a OBD2 and read the air flow. I had the same symptoms radio shuts off tcs lit up etc... wen i cleaned it the problem went away. BTW also a good idea to clean ur filter since ur running the typhoon kit. I bet ur MAF sensor is covered wit dust/debris

Good point, I clean my MAF once a year, same time I clean and re-oil the filter. The MAF are usually caked in gunk each time...... great intake right
