Well...It finally happened....
I just picked up my new car...here it is.
It's a 2005 Velocity Red RX-8 GT with rotary accents.
Some of the pictures make it look orangish....
Overall..i'm very happy with my new purchase. I love the sound of the engine. :D :D

Nope, I don't plan on abusing my car. I did find out that going from 5th gear to 6th gear is rather different...but i'm getting better. Also, I will be checking the gas regurlarly. One thing I didn't like that the dealer did, was the detailer put the stupid dealership sticker on the rear...you can see it right above the MAZDA badge. I'm going to get that off immediatly. I think for my first manual car, i'm doing rather good...and should have no trouble 'mastering' it. Amazing how I find myself going down to the garage randomly and sitting in it. 
One thing i'm happy to say is, I may be 20 years old (21 sept 20th), but I'm paying for gas/payments/insurance all on my own.

That's cool abbid, nice to see some other people my age that have paid for their cars. What do you do for a living if you dont mind asking? I'm a computer programmer...

Congrats....But the big question is....Do you live on your own? No offense, but its not much fun meeting lots of chicks with a cool car, then taking them home to your parents house. lol

Haha...ya..some girls like girl...but im a 6'1" 245lbs guy....at least you didn't publically ask for 'sexy pictures' of me...like someone else did on another board thinking I was a girl...I took a pic of me holding my index finger over my mouth with an 'innocent' look on my face..lmao...boy did everyone make him feel like a dummy..

Love the two tone red interior...
Use Amour all leather wipes and protectant wipes for your interior (Except the piano black and metal parts) and you will keep it looking NEW...

Nice...I got the exact same car a few weeks ago, but with the spoiler and tanned seats. Have fun!

Is that a pennsylvania license plate?? If so what part of Pa are you from?? I just bought my 8 on friday sept 9th. Just wondering cause i would like to get a bunch of 8 together to go cruising. I live in lancaster Pa
