Honestly...the best thing you can do is read all the stickies. They are a wealth of info. don't worry if you get overwhelmed for awhile. It will all come in time.
You can also do some searches about a given subject and I know you've said it's all jibberish, just hang in there, block out some time, and read, read, read.

Get an AP after your do the MSP16 TSB but only after making sure you've pulled your CAT. It'll make the OMP work better with the SAE.

An EMS for your ECU is the RX your DR ordered.

FWIW, I acquired all those acronyms and understanding of what they mean by searching and reading the threads littered throughout this website.

And that's just a small dose of jargon you'll eventually pick up here. Depending on your style it'll take a couple weeks to a couple months, but before too long you'll have it down.

Patience grasshopper... wax on, wax off

haha wax on wax off......dont' worry everything will come in time....but i'll b nice and short hand explain them to u.....flashes are basically a reprogramming of the factory PCM to change certain things like amount of oil that is injected into the motor etc etc, TSB(Technical Service Bulletin) are basically something that Mazda is aware of but have not made it a recall if you go in complaining of a problem like a milky dipstick they will do the service for free if still under bumper to bumper warranty...

Premix: is basically mixing some 2 stroke/marine oil with your gas many ppl use different amount i personally use 6oz of Pennzoil Marine to about 12 gallons...there is a whole thread (if you search) strictly on Premix....it a great idea because ther are only 2 oil injectors that point at each side of the Apex seal but dont lubricate the middle of the seal very well.(and face it our motor lives and relies on the Apex seal any abnormal wear is not good) so premix adds a little extra lubrication for the middle and overall area of teh apex seal.

As for oil well u better put ur flame suit on because this has been an on going battle for years since the 8 actually came out.......first u have synthetic or Dino? Synthetic is not recommended but many ppl use it...personally i use Castrol GTX non synthetic....now after the synthetic vs. dino battle u have the which weight...here in the USA 5w20 is recommended however in every other part of the world 5w30 is recommended which is thicker and provided better protection I use 5w30 but there are a few(i believe) that are using 20w50 so that is all a preference on what u do!
