What is definition of "idle" problems
I have an 05 GT manual with 10,000 miles that has been maintained religiously. I have read about the recall and definately have NOT had power loss but I do not understand what you guys mean when you refer to idle problems.
I have read that it is idle flucuation, but other have had the car die while at idle. My car starts cold and idles about 1300 rpm for about 30 - 40 seconds and then drops to 1000, then down to the first line below the 1K mark (700 - 800 rpm?).
My car does not seem to fluctuate at all, but the idle is not exactly smooth...meaning you hear an occasional burp ( I have a catback so you hear the engine exhaust sound more). Is this normal? What would idle problems related to the recall be referring to?
Thanks
