Feal coilover installation on the front (yes did the easy ones first) then new disks on all 4 corners followed up by stainless brake line install.
Next gotta tackle the rear coilover install.

Replaced my plug wires, and coil mounting bracket, courtesy of Charles/BHR. Attempted to swap a coolant bottle with a brand new OEM one. Snapped the ******* flange off the radiator like a rotted twig. Took absolutely zero force. I'm amazed the **** we make out of plastic nowadays.

Installed a Racing Beat DR midpipe. I thought I was going to get lots of rasp on the stock exhaust but its sound pretty great.

Do remember to write a review of the Feal coilovers. Some of us are very interested in how well they work in this car.

for these. This isn't a DD so my review will be primarily track related.

Changed out my first fill of rotella T6 at about 1.2k on this oil. previous was GTX 10w40 so probably some of that still lingering around. Notice my misfire was back too.... same thing, cyl.1 (Front rotor) so being 70F today, i pulled T/L and cleaned off the caked on carbon. I suspect it was from the heavy usage of Motul 800v from earlier in it's life when I was still breaking it in! Since my OMP rates are kicked up so much, i don't premix. Getting that oil filter off, really pisses me off if it cranked on there lol

Oil Changed, replaced spark plugs, and OEM CAT back on for SMOG check(which is two months overdue). Mishimoto radiator leaking at the top so while it's still cool in SoCal, I'm gonna try to replace that with an OEM one while that gets sent back for a new one. Front brakes are on it's way along with end links and struts.

Drove it to Vorschlag Motorsports for their open house. Saw some cool race cars in various states of completion. Very clean shop. Picked up some harness backing plates for my Miata.

Built a electronic compression tester using a 0-150 psi = 0-10 volt output sensor to read the signal on my oscilloscope and be able to see the pulses and get a time base between them to calculate RPM from. Getting pulses of around 7.3 vdc in each rotor +/- .1-.2 vdc between faces which would be about 110 psi but seeing 5-6 pulses per second which if my calculation is correct would mean my starter is cranking the engine about 350 rpm and normalized to 250 rpm at 550 ft elevation would mean my compression is around 94 psi which is getting on the low side. Its a 2006 with stock starter but brand new 850 CCA DieHard with fresh terminals and all ground wires just cleaned including connections at the starter. Is 350 cranking RPM possible, seems out of graph of cranking rpm to compression readings to me??
My formula I came up with for pulses per second to RPM is Pulses Per Second (PPS)x60=RPM
so 6 PPSx60= 360 RPM, 5.5 PPS x60= 330RPM and 5 PPSx60= 300 RPM
Anyone know if this is correct way to calculate RPM based on compression pulses per second???

one more question for the experts out there
Concerned my Cat will block someday. Right now OBD2 data watching the O2 sensor voltages and taking inlet and out temps on the Cat say Cat is working good. My concern is if I buy say a pipe to replace the Cat or gut the Cat will I end up with the ECU putting out CEL's for O2 sensor readings of the missing Cat?
Does gutting the Cat or replacing with a pipe make the exhaust sound change?
2006 just turning past the 100k milestone

Enjoyed a perfect drive up the Saw Mill River Parkway (lots of curves and NO TRUCKS) from NYC to The Blazer Pub in Purdys. Cheeseburgers so good, they're worth the scenic hour's drive.

Finally got the S2 interior wiring in the car and had a "great" time untangling it, but it's for the most part laid out in the car now and just need to get everything in place and finish installing it so I can move forward with my build. I also had a friend of mine weld my clutch pedal and he did a very badass job on it:D

[QUOTE=heli;4808314]Installed a BHR midpipe and removed all that air pump junk. No CEL yet...[/QUOTE
Can you notice any performance increase with the pipe? Is it louder with this pipe? Does it have a place for the secondary O2 sensor?
