What did you do with your RX8 today?

Legend In My Own Mind
Fixed an exhaust leak. (If you buy a new midpipe be sure to check both sets of springs to see which one is better BEFORE you lower the car.) The watched my 8 sit in the sun while I reorganized my garage and cleaned up my toolbox that was getting out of hand messy.

It's Over
I sold my 8 today. It was a great day but at the same time a really sad one. Giving up one of the most wonderful pieces of my life that I know I will come to regret in a few months takes a toll on the human psyche. I gave my brother the keys, slid my hand one last time over the curves of the car, and hopped in the front seat of my buddy's Veloster. My life will never be the same. Just messing, but seriously, I cried a little on the inside. Goodbye rotary, it was fun while it lasted.

Why not? I tested my rear rotor a little more than 10k miles ago and ended up with 107,108,109 after corrections for altitude and rpm. I only tested to get an idea where the motor was at since I bought it with 18k miles already on it. Not the greatest number I could have gotten but its not horrible either I guess.

LOL, what isle in Home Depot? Thinking of putting one over mine to cover the scratches I've made on my OEM front lip.
You're lucky you don't live in United States. 80 mph in the street will get you in the "4 o'clock Breaking News", then I would have taken a picture and posted you in I Saw You Today thread!

Swapped out my Autometer Wideband AFR gauge and sensor with an Innovate LC-1 and G3 gauge. I then wired in the LC-1 to my Adaptronic ECU so that it can get a good wide range digital read.

Shift S3ctor/AE Performance track day!
Went to the shift s3ctor event a willow springs today with AE performance.
Did pretty good for driving with street tires (yokohama parada spec-2) on but half way thru the day tires started getting greasy lowered the pressure (it was 107F today) did good until a few laps in and got greasy again, so next track day bringing some fresh rs-3 or NTO1.
on another note the flex-a-lite fan controller did the job hottest I got was 220 (not good I know) under hard driving and 107F temp took a pit 3-5min later temp drop to 190 so it was worth it.
so yep a pretty fun day with the 8 trying to stay ahead of a Z4 hard top and M3 as long as possible had to throw in the pass me wave a few times
