What do you all think of my future RX-8? (Description only)
To the mods- sorry I'm still new here and at the mercy of you as far as where what threads are supposed to go..
Anyway here's what my RX-8 will be like, I'd appreciate any opinions or suggetions.
2005 Winning Blue Mazda RX-8
Automatic
Stock wheels (I hate changing wheels..)
Cloth black interior
Touring package (Comes with Bose and moonroof correct?) or the sports package? (would like an opinion on this.. I'm hoping for the touring package but is the moonroof nice?)
No rear spoiler
Stock everything else

Unless you have some physical impairment, Blue, you should get the stick. Driving an autobox is nowhere near as fun, and in Fresno you don't have much terrible traffic to use as an excuse.
I convinced my brother to get a five-speed WRX even though he didn't initially want to, and he learned to drive a stick and loves it now. (He hates autos now, too.) And that so-called F1 paddle crap is just that, IMHO. It's an autobox with up and downshift buttons, BFD. Sorry to be so blunt, but I have a strong opinion on this subject: A sports car without a stick is like a stud without a d*ck, IMHO.
Also, even if you get the slushbox, lose the 16s. The base 6-speed comes with bigger front brakes, 18s, sport suspension, LSD ....
