also, a tip that i just found recently ... theres a slot in yer visor that fits a car wash card just perfectly! had no idea they even existed.
now if i could just come up with a good place to put my cell phone ... i need it visible (usually cant hear it ring, just see it light up) and currently have it velcroed with some 3M stickies that are used for my ipass. its stuck right on the piano black dash and looks TERRIBLE when the phone isnt on it....
any good suggestions?

Wow, had my car for 4 months now and never noticed that darn little hook...Thanks Elara!
I'll go check it out when I leave the office today.
RSD: I have the same problem with the cell phone. I USED to keep it on my in it's holster on my right side but I was driving home one day...car cut me off...I slammed on the brakes...seatbelts tightened...CRUNCH!

there are days when id like to crunch my cell phone!
sad thing is, around here you have to use a headset if driving, so i cant put it up on the visor with a clip or sumpin (damn wire hangin down would drive me nuts!)
im also kinda particular (even painted my IPass black just so it would 'blend in' better) so ive got to come up with a better solution for the phone.

I just found the solution to my cell phone dilemma this past weekend but it's a bit pricey:
LG VX8100 and Bluetooth HS850 . (so I won't have to deal with that stupid wire anymore)
I figure I can keep the phone in the center console and if I see the headset flashing (which will probably be on the passenger seat) I can just answer it that way.

I really dont have a problem just letting the cap rest GENTLY on the side of the car.

CD's, gas cap, garage door opener
I just put my CD's on the passenger seat. I have about 200 of them and the case I put them in is kinda heavy so I don't have to worry about them falling in the floor when I brake hard.
I put my garage door opener in the ashtray.
I am going to look for that gas cap hook. I had didn't know it had one.
