What does the new recall fix?
I called up Mazda this week so they can update their records regarding me purchasing a used RX8 GT. They told me that a recall just went into effect for all 2004 RX-8 vehicles and I should be seeing a letter in the mail sometime soon.
What does this recall entail? I know a lot of people have been discussing that Mazda will be replacing their engines, I just didn't know if that pertained to me.
On a side note, my air compressor crapped the bed, so I'm hoping that's covered by manufacturers warranty as well as the recall (no money out of pocket, I hope....I've just had the car 2 weeks).

Also, it pertains to hard starts due to bad starters in cold climates.
I actually wouldn't mind getting a new engine.....would only prolong car life. Instead of driving around in a car with 30k on it, I'd have an engine with 0k.....I would love that.
