I didn't see anyone say anything about the fast depreciation of the car... this cars are worth nothing not, so it's better to just keep it than sell.
Also, highway speeds, the rattle is everywhere in my car... I mean front, sides, back everything is making noise (and my tires are still good {7k miles}, so don't tell me to change my tires...)

I love my 8. But it's not perfect…
• "Dummy" oil pressure & engine temp gauges
• Interior door panels/door sills scratch easily
• Blind spots make backing up tricky
• Bose stereo mediocre; difficult upgrading to something better
• 'Fake' mesh on bottom of rear bumper
• Bad location for front license plate - should be on lower front corner of bumper
• Now that I've sat in the new Recaro seats, I wish seatbacks on mine held you in like that

- Not having been able to get the GT package without the sunroof.
- Not having holes in the front under-tray that mate up with the drain plugs in the oil coolers to allow full oil changes without dismounting the tray.
- A tail light design that relies upon a faulty seal design.

I have a 2004 and have had no less than 3 driver side tail-lights installed before the leakage issue was finally addressed. I had to remove the passenger side tail-light at one point it's been a leaker ever since (with the original gasket). None of my 3 RX-7s had flooding tail lights, so I think it's only ridiculous that Mazda released a design that relies upon a faulty gasket design into the market. If your meaning was that it's ridiculous that Mazda should make such a mistake, then I agree with you. If your meaning was that I was ridiculous for having an objection to it, then I trust my explanation of my personal experience with tail light leakage has persuaded you that, at least in my case, it is not a ridiculous complaint.

^^ agree with you on that part

What really drives me crazy are the doors. When you push them open, they rarely catch and stay open in any position. Most of the time they bounce back and hit me as I try to get out, or cause me to be sandwiched between the door and the car for a moment. This is REALLY annoying. It always seems to happen when people are nearby and I look like a doofus trying to get out. Don't even bring up trying to get out when parked going uphill. Thank you for listening. I'm sure I'm the only one who cares.
