About 2 months before I bought my 8, I introduced my friend & nextdoor neighbor to the car on mazda's website. Apparently he got the bug. I bought my car and gave him a spin. He's asking me where I got it...so I hooked him up with the dealer/salesman I had, and here he comes home less than a week later driving HIS new Ti 8! Now, mind you I called my sales guy to let him know he was coming...

My question is, when I go back for my tags (still on temp tags), what freebie should I go for? Keep in mind that said salesman is actually one of the managers, is a friend of the family, and between my dad and I, we've bought or leased a half dozen cars from him over the years.

Free oil changes for the life of the car?...Some cool accessory like fender strakes?...I'm pretty sure I can get SOMETHING here...

Oh wow...if you've bought from him before in the past he should hook you up for sure. When I bought mine two weeks ago I got them to give me lifetime oil changes and free tinted windows.

i got the spare tire kit. I will probably never need it but it would seem wierd not having a spare. Just an idea.

I did some calling around, and asked other dealers if they could match the price I quoted and what benefits they could have. One offered nothing, another offered a trip to Vegas (!) but I had gone the week before. Another had free tires for life, which would have been nice but I leased this car. So I went back to my original dealer and go can you match this and some tinted windows. He agreed, and agreed a little too fast...leaving me to think I could have held out for some more...
