Hang on Gord ... with all the mods he's done though, his Auto 8 has got be faster than our MT 8's. As we all know, a wing with a height greater than 50 cm adds 20 HP, lowering the car adds at least 15HP, 19 inch rims with spinners adds 10HP and obviously the 5HP from decals.

Okay, so Nav, leather, a sunroof, and a body kit makes the car not junk?

Forget the rotary engine, 50/50 weight distribution, one of the most refined chassis on the road, and sophisticated suspension. Forget the electronic power steering. Forget the fact that the car runs the lotus designed Top Gear track the same time as the M3.

Yeah it's 1 AM, I just got home, and it's a Friday night....yeah yeah I called it an early night tonight.

But what I wanna know is why this guy Deam is on the forum conjuring up bullshit on a Friday night. No life maybe??? eh deam???

 

What I honestly don't understand is how the type of people I usually see driving riced out cars can even afford to mod their cars. They're usually people that look like they're still in high school, and yet their cars all look as if they've had at least $5k worth of mods done to it. I would mod my car except I simply feel that the price -> usefulness ratio isn't worth it. That, and the fact that mods just aren't cheap! I mean the cost of an exhaust alone could pay for my premium Shell V-power gas for 4 months. A full blown body kit would be a year's worth of gas.

I'm driving the stock 8 w/o HID's, DSC, heated seats, etc. You're right, every time I get in it, I think "What a piece of junk! Wish I had my old Altima back - now that was a a much better car"
