my fender is broken and needs replacing, some it is alliminium but some say sheet metal if you plz get back to me on this, thanks....

 

If the magnet sticks, then its sheet metal. If not, then its aluminum.

 

Both the front fenders are metal.

 

I have quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies in my pocket. they have lost all their luster over the years. hmm, they do not even have the "cha-ching sound anymore but rather a disappointing clunk in my pocket. the cha-ching coins apparently became extinct and too expensive to make.

Some companies make OE-like replacements out of frp. I'm not sure how they fit and how much they weigh but still...

I've done auto body work on Mazda's for 18 years. The fenders are metal.

 

All body parts are metal, except hood and rear doors--they are AL.

 

Good to know that aluminum is not a metal.

Oe fenders are sheet metal(steel)

Aftermarket replacements are frp (fiberglass)

Im ordering mine soon, need both front fenders, not because i hit anything, its just that the edge where it meets the turn signal housing has rust all over, i strip it paint a while ago ... now gotta pay for my mistakes :-|
