What other Mazdas did you own before the RX-8?
Just wondering if members here had owned any previous Mazdas prior to the RX-8?
I'll start:
- Miata
- FC RX-7
- MX-6

'72 RX-3, a LONG time ago, in a universe far, far away.....
When the RX-7 was introduced, there were other priorities - like a house, two kids and debt up the yingyang.
Never had a new car, until the RX-8 was announced - Wifey said "Ya gotta do it!"
Put my deposit down in Feb. 2002!
Car is now five years old 60k, and seems 'looser' and faster than ever, I couldn't be happier!

1973 RX-2 Sedan MT - bought new as a gas crisis leftover in 1975 and totalled in 1976
1976 RX-4 Wagon AT - yellow with factory woodgrain applique
1980 626 Hardtop Coupe AT - converted in 1984 to street ported (RB) 13B MT What a sleeper!
1982 B2000 MT - powerless but tough and very economical
1988 626 Turbo 5-door AT - a showcase of 1980's engineering
2004 MPV ES - the "right-size" minivan
2006 Mazda6s Grand Sport AT - another example of Mazda engineering being ahead of the competition
2007 RX-8 Touring AT - not economical, not a truck, not a minivan and not a sleeper but this is the car I want to keep forever

Huge hole is huge
1988 RX-7 GTU - Bought it for $900. Needed paint/rust fix, interior was ripped to hell, but the engine pulled like no tomorrow. It died recently, so I sold it for $50 and they got it up and running rather quick. Good to know it had some nice attention.
1988 RX-7 Turbo II - GREAT car for $3,250. It was pretty much 100% stock, except for the cone air filter and blacked interior. Engine had some low compression, but it still pulled hard hard hard, and I traded it for my next car straight up...
1984 RX-7 GSL-SE - Streetport, everything but ESSENTIAL TO RUN parts in the engine way, and has a rather decent interior. I plan on Turbo'ing this baby when I somehow gather the cash.

Oh we have just closed a deal on a remaining Onyx Black 2007 Mazda6 GT wagon brand new to replace our 92x. Another Mazda to the list!
